BEYOND THE SCREEN.

BEYOND THE SCREEN.

Fortitude Filmworks believes building something meaningful in Dallas–Fort Worth goes beyond the stories we put on screen. We’re creating spaces where filmmakers, creatives, crew, industry professionals and the businesses that support this industry can connect, learn, collaborate and grow together.

Fortitude’s community experiences are designed around what independent filmmakers and creatives actually need — opportunities to build genuine relationships, share knowledge, discover resources and create new possibilities together.

DECEMBER 2026 / FORT WORTH

REEL CONNECTIONS

REEL CONNECTIONS

REEL CONNECTIONS

NO PANELS. NO PITCHES. JUST REAL CONNECTIONS.

Reel Connections is a creative-industry social built around genuine connection. It brings filmmakers, actors, crew, content creators, artists, fashion creatives, entrepreneurs, and other creative professionals into the same space—without the pressure of a conference or the awkwardness of traditional networking. It’s an evening to meet the people behind the work, discover who’s creating and building in DFW, and let new relationships and future collaborations happen naturally.

BEHIND THE LENS SUMMIT

BEHIND THE LENS SUMMIT

THE CONVERSATIONS FILMMAKERS ACTUALLY NEED.

Behind the Lens is a one-day industry summit built around the realities of independent filmmaking. Through main-stage conversations and focused breakout sessions, filmmakers and working industry professionals will dig into financing, budgeting, scheduling, production, directing, writing, marketing, post-production, career development and what it actually takes to move a project forward. Practical, candid and collaborative — never corporate.
